Every rescue strives to be the best and does everything they can with very limited resources. Each and every volunteer works incredibly hard at this thankless endeavor to assist dogs they save every day.

When talking to people seeking to find a home for a beloved pet they can't keep, or someone looking for a new pet - it was notoriously difficult to find the individuals doing the rescuing. Other than the local humane society, unless you were "in dogs" you probably didn't know who to ask if you wanted a particular breed or mix. Or like me, I knew all the Malamute rescues, but when friends would ask if I knew where they might find a chihuahua-mix, I was lost. This made me wonder how many good dogs were going homeless only because their "forever home" didn't know where to look.

Because of this, I have created this site. If you are an established rescue please add your name and website. If you are an individual that occasionally rescues a stray, and always seems to have a dog you are looking to adopt into the perfect home, we want to hear from you too. Shelters, humane organizations and Veterinarians or Groomers that place dogs, please join in this effort to unite all dog rescuers in one place.
